A peacock doesn't have to be displayed as monotonous as that, it can also be used to enhance an already busy room with textures and colours, giving further dimension and life. Ranging from the Little Owl, which is native to Europe, Africa and East Asia and then introduced to the South Island of New Zealand in the early 20th Century to the silent flying Long-Eared Owl that turns itself into a tree-lookalike when roosting to avoid becoming prey.
